KoreeMoon Terms of Use

1. Who We Are

KoreeMoon is developed and operated by Kalitasha Limited, a company registered in Scotland, United Kingdom.

2. Agreement to These Terms

By downloading, accessing, or using KoreeMoon, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

These Terms apply to the KoreeMoon mobile app and related account, lesson, support, website, and backend services that we operate. If you download KoreeMoon through the App Store, Apple's App Store terms and the applicable Apple end user licence agreement also apply. If there is a conflict between these Terms and Apple's mandatory App Store terms for your purchase or download, Apple's mandatory terms will control for that purchase or download.

3. Paid Download, Purchases, and Refunds

KoreeMoon is intended to be distributed as a paid-download app. App Store purchases are processed by Apple, not by Kalitasha Limited. Apple may handle payment authorisation, taxes, receipts, refund requests, purchase history, Family Sharing where available, and related payment support under Apple's own terms and policies.

Kalitasha Limited does not receive or store your payment card number through the KoreeMoon mobile app. If you need a refund for an App Store purchase, use Apple's refund process or App Store support tools.

Unless clearly stated in the app or App Store product page, KoreeMoon does not currently provide subscriptions or in-app purchases. If we add paid subscriptions, in-app purchases, or other paid services later, we will describe those terms before purchase where required.

4. Your Licence to Use KoreeMoon

Subject to these Terms and the applicable app store licence terms, Kalitasha Limited gives you a limited, personal, revocable, non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to use KoreeMoon on devices you own or control for personal, non-commercial use.

You do not acquire ownership of KoreeMoon, its code, designs, lessons, course content, graphics, text, audio, video, names, marks, or other materials. All rights not expressly granted are reserved by Kalitasha Limited and its licensors.

5. What KoreeMoon Is For

KoreeMoon helps users log menstrual cycle information, flow, pain, symptoms, moods, reflections, thoughts, and personal events; view app calendar information and moon phase context; receive local reminders; and access educational learning content connected with FirstPeriod services.

KoreeMoon is designed for reflection, learning, and personal tracking. It may show patterns, summaries, estimates, predictions, or educational content. These outputs can be incomplete or inaccurate because they depend on the information available on your device, the calendar entries you create, the permissions you grant, and the limits of prediction models.

6. Local Calendar Logs and Your Responsibility

KoreeMoon's current mobile app stores cycle, mood, symptom, thought, and event logs locally on your device and in the device calendar or calendar account you choose. If your chosen calendar syncs with iCloud, Google, Exchange, or another calendar provider, that provider may store or process those calendar entries under its own terms and privacy policy.

You are responsible for choosing an appropriate calendar, protecting your device and calendar account, reviewing entries before sharing calendars with others, and deleting calendar entries you no longer want to keep. Deleting your KoreeMoon account deletes backend account-linked data, but it does not delete logs that exist only on your device or in your calendar account.

The app may include tools to delete calendar events by date range where available. Date-range deletion can remove calendar events in the selected range, so check the selected dates carefully before confirming deletion.

7. Accounts and Security

You may use some local app features without creating an account. Account features are used for profile, course, lesson, achievement, leaderboard, and progress features connected with KoreeMoon and FirstPeriod services.

You are responsible for keeping your sign-in details secure, using accurate account information, and preventing unauthorised use of your account. You must not share your account with others, impersonate another person, or use another person's account without permission.

8. Children and Young Users

KoreeMoon is intended for users aged 9 and older. Users who are below the age at which they can agree to these Terms or consent to personal data processing in their country should use KoreeMoon only with parent or guardian involvement and permission.

Parents and guardians are responsible for deciding whether KoreeMoon is appropriate for a young user and for supervising use where required by law or family circumstances.

9. Acceptable Use

You agree that you will not:

• use KoreeMoon for unlawful, harmful, abusive, exploitative, or deceptive purposes;
• try to access another user's account or data without permission;
• interfere with or disrupt KoreeMoon, FirstPeriod services, servers, networks, or security controls;
• copy, scrape, reproduce, redistribute, sell, sublicense, or commercially exploit app or lesson content except where we give written permission;
• reverse engineer, decompile, modify, or create derivative works from KoreeMoon except to the extent applicable law gives you a right that cannot be restricted;
• upload, submit, or transmit content that infringes another person's rights or violates applicable law;
• use automated systems to abuse account, lesson, leaderboard, support, or backend features.

10. Learning Content and Intellectual Property

KoreeMoon and FirstPeriod learning content is provided for personal education and reflection. Unless we clearly state otherwise, the app, course materials, lesson content, images, text, designs, software, trademarks, and related materials are owned by Kalitasha Limited or licensed to us.

You may not copy, publish, sell, translate, adapt, train models on, or redistribute KoreeMoon or FirstPeriod content for commercial purposes without written permission from Kalitasha Limited.

11. Privacy

Your use of KoreeMoon is also governed by the KoreeMoon Privacy Policy. The Privacy Policy explains what data the app handles, what stays local on your device or calendar, what backend account and learning data we process, how deletion works, and how to contact us about privacy rights.

12. Account Deletion and Ending Use

You can stop using KoreeMoon at any time. You can uninstall the app, delete local calendar entries, clear local device data where your device allows it, and delete your KoreeMoon account if you created one.

If you are signed in, you can delete your KoreeMoon account in the app from Settings > Delete Account. The app requires your current password before submitting the deletion request. Account deletion removes backend account-owned data such as check-ins or tasks, progress, points and history, streaks, achievements, character/profile data, and the user account row, subject to limited records we may need to keep for legal, security, fraud-prevention, or dispute reasons.

Account deletion does not delete health logs, thought logs, event logs, or other entries stored only on your device or in your device calendar. Those entries must be deleted from your device, app deletion tools where available, or calendar account.

We may suspend or end access to account-linked services if we reasonably believe you have breached these Terms, created security risk, misused the service, or if we are required to do so by law.

13. Changes, Availability, and Support

We may update, improve, suspend, remove, or change KoreeMoon features from time to time. Some features may require internet access, App Store availability, account sign-in, calendar permission, notification permission, or backend services. Local features may continue to work in a limited way without internet access, but account, lesson, progress, and web content features may not.

We try to keep KoreeMoon reliable, but we do not promise that the app or connected services will always be available, uninterrupted, error-free, or compatible with every device, operating-system version, calendar provider, or account configuration.

14. Disclaimers

To the fullest extent permitted by law, KoreeMoon and related services are provided "as is" and "as available". We do not promise that KoreeMoon will meet your needs, produce accurate cycle predictions, identify health issues, prevent harm, or operate without interruption or errors.

Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you have under consumer protection laws that cannot be excluded or restricted by contract.

15. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Kalitasha Limited will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive losses, or for loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or business opportunity arising from your use of KoreeMoon.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.

16. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Scotland, except where mandatory consumer protection laws in your country require otherwise. If you live outside Scotland, you may also have rights under mandatory local consumer laws that continue to apply.

17. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes to KoreeMoon, paid features, legal requirements, or how our services work. When we update these Terms, we will revise the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. If a change is material, we may provide additional notice where required.
